Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Vectr (the "app", "we") does with information. In short: Vectr has no account system, and your saved aircraft profiles, favourite airports, cached weather reports and your settings stay on your device. We do not run a server that stores your personal data.
1. Information stored on your device
Vectr stores your saved aircraft profiles, favourite airports, cached weather reports and your settings locally on your device only. We do not collect, receive or store this content on any server of ours.
2. No account
You do not need to create an account or give us your name, email address or phone number to use Vectr.
3. Analytics and crash reports
We use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand anonymous usage (for example, which screens are used) and to find and fix crashes. These services may collect device and app information such as device model, operating system version, app version, crash traces, an app-instance identifier and approximate region derived from IP address. Google acts as our data processor. We do not use this data to identify you. See Google Privacy Policy and Firebase privacy information.
4. Advertising (free version)
The free version of Vectr shows ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use device identifiers (such as the advertising identifier), IP address, and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads and, where you permit it, to personalise them. Vectr Pro removes ads.
- EEA and UK: we show a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform, UMP) before ads are requested, where you can accept, refuse or change your ad choices. You can reopen it from the app's settings where available.
- iOS: Vectr shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you tap "Ask App Not to Track", the advertising identifier is not used for tracking. You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

5. Purchases
Vectr Pro is an in-app purchase handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage your Pro entitlement. RevenueCat receives your purchase receipt information and an anonymous app user ID generated for your installation. We do not receive your payment details, which stay with Apple or Google. 6. Device permissions
Vectr does not ask for location, camera, microphone, contacts or photo access.
Weather reports (Pro). When you look up an airport, Vectr sends the four-letter airport code you typed to the public aviation weather service of the U.S. National Weather Service (aviationweather.gov) to fetch its METAR and TAF. No personal information is sent with that request beyond what any internet request carries (such as your IP address). The last reports are cached on your device.
7. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Information goes only to the service providers named above (Google for Firebase and AdMob, RevenueCat for purchases, Apple for the App Store and Google for Google Play and payments), which process it to provide their services, or where required by law.
8. Retention and deletion
Data on your device stays there until you delete it or delete the app. Deleting the app removes it. Analytics, crash and purchase data held by our providers is retained according to their policies. 9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, UK or California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of personal data. As we hold no account data, most of your data is under your control on your device. For any request, contact us at berkantc93@gmail.com.
10. Children
Vectr is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will help to remove it. Ads are served according to Google's policies and the age settings available to the app.
11. Security
Data on your device is protected by your device's own security. Data sent to our service providers is transmitted over encrypted connections.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be reflected in the app or on this page.
